Thus, these margins were, on average, 18 percent higher than in 2012.
In its calculation, CAA-Quebec is a lingers the gap between the price displayed
a pump from January to June this year and the weekly minimum price estimated by the Regie de l'energie. The agency concludes that changes in higher margins had a direct impact on the price of gasoline.
For example, the average gap in Saguenay / Lac-Saint-Jean for the first six months of the year rose by 42.2 percent compared to last year, compared to 38 per cent in Ottawa, 28 percent in Montreal, Laval has 23 percent, 22 percent and 20 percent Monteregie Quebec has.
CAA-Quebec believes, however, that despite the higher margins in detail, the average price of a liter of gasoline in Montreal, Quebec and Sherbrooke are virtually identical to those observed homes in 2012.
