Honda Canada recalls nearly 800 vehicles S2000 and Acura RSX
Honda Canada is recalling 649 vehicles and 2006 Acura RSX S2000 2006-2007 130 vehicles in Canada to inspect and, if necessary, replace their brake booster.
The automaker announced Thursday the recall of 104,500 cars in 49 countries on a global scale.
The mechanical problem has caused the recall occurred during manufacturing, according to Honda.
Some components of the booster may not be consistent with the original specifications, which could possibly reduce the effectiveness of assistance to emergency braking time.
No collisions or injuries have been reported in connection with this problem, which was discovered during repairs covered under warranty in Japan, Honda Canada says by way of communicating.
