The salary of the CEO of Ford fall 29% to U.S. $ 20.95 million
The remuneration of the chairman of American automaker Ford, Alan Mulally, has dropped 29 percent in 2012, to establish a U.S. $ 20.95 million. Ford has unveiled the salary of his boss on Friday in an annual report submitted to the U.S. government.
The base salary of Mr. Mulally rises to $ 2 million, the same amount, however, that fell 27 percent in 2011. His bonus, a U.S. $ 1.3 million, and the value of the shares received halved, to U.S. $ 6.8 million.
He also received $ 7.5 million in stock options, as in 2011. The bonus amount received under the program Ford for its leaders lost weight by 28 percent, $ 2.6 million U.S..
Mr. Mullaly has also received U.S. $ 680 809 in other benefits, including the use of a private aircraft, as well as expenditures for its housing and security. Everything is in slight increase since 2011.
If Ford has reported profits of U.S. $ 8 billion before taxes in North America for the year 2012, total profits were falling from U.S. $ 300 million to U.S. $ 5.66 billion, mainly due to a loss U.S. $ 1.75 billion in Europe.
