Daimler, Ford and Renault-Nissan in unison
After collaboration between manufacturers BMW and Toyota, for the development of alternative powertrains, here it is the turn of Daimler (Mercedes-Benz and smart), Ford (U.S. and Europe) and Renault-Nissan to do the same, for the purpose of designing a fuel cell vehicle.
Recall that at this level, Mercedes-Benz holds a significant advance in the design of cars like this.
Although talking more and more vehicle engine has electric or plug-in hybrid, this technological approach is not dead so far, has shown, the agreement between these three giants of the automobile.
The first goal of this collaboration is to market by 2017, a series of cars affordable, powered by an electric motor that draws its strength through a fuel cell.
