PSA Peugeot Citroen and General Motors announce new developments in their Alliance
Signs agreements for the development of major projects in the vehicles and purchases.
PSA Peugeot Citroen (PSA) and General Motors (GM) confirm the signing of important agreements in the implementation of their global strategic alliance. Accordance with the provisions of the framework agreement signed February 29, 2012, the two partners have signed definitive agreements on three projects of vehicles as well as a joint venture in purchasing.
Three development projects of common platforms and vehicles
The first development projects in common platforms and vehicles include:

A joint program of the minivan segment B for the two groups
The co-development of a modernized platform for B-segment cars has low CO2 emissions destined for New generation of vehicles Opel / Vauxhall and PSA Peugeot Citroen in Europe and the world
Other projects of co-development of vehicles are to the study and further strengthen the Alliance. They will ad SUBSEQUENT object.
The marketing of the first vehicles from this collaboration is planned in 2016. Models The Opel / Vauxhall, Peugeot and Citroen are clearly differentiated in total coherence with the respective identity of each brand.
Creation of a joint venture in purchasing
The Alliance partners have signed a definitive agreement to create a joint procurement in Europe has backed a joint venture.
