Peugeot Champion Endurance

The last weekend on the circuit Zhuhai, China, was held the final round of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (ILMC). A series which is both aa lot and talk little different since it consisted of endurance tests already included in the Le Mans series european, Asian and American. 12 Hours of Sebring and the "Petit Le Mans" at Road Atlanta were for example tests for cash presented in North America ILMC, while accounting for the American Le Mans Series.

A somewhat complicated system that was in fact the way for developers to break in their organization and attract manufacturing in anticipation of the new World Endurance Championship to be launched in 2012, with of course the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans as highlight season. Peugeot, Audi and Aston Martin in the category of prototype cars and BMW GT were enrolled this year in the ILMC.

In China, Peugeot has realized double turbodiesel with 908. Sebastien Bourdais and Anthony Davidson have die before the duo Sarrazin / Montagny foregoing the only Audi R18 TDI on arrival (that of Fassler and Bernhard). This success allows a Peugeot won the 2011 title. In GT, the BMW M3 has dominated Zhuhai, but the brand finishes second behind Ferrari 458 Italia and entered by AF Corse structure, the final championship standings.
