Honda Civic Hybrid 2006 and 2007: 2064 Car Reminder

Honda Canada will recall the 2064 Civic Hybrid vehicles from model years 2006 and 2007. This recall involves the replacement of the DC-DC converter, a component of hybrid control system IMA (Integrated Motor Assist for). The DC-DC converter can fail, which would stall the engine and turn off the headlights. No accidents or injuries have been reported in relation to this defect.

Honda announces recall to encourage all owners of affected vehicles to visit a dealer permits they receive a recall notice from Honda. Customers start to receive their views during the month.
