Chevrolet Sonic: It's confirmed!

Yesterday, I talked about the intention of General Motors, to change the name of its small Chevrolet Aveo for the Chevrolet Sonic.

Now, here it is already a done deal for the leaders of the new General Motors Company, at least for North American markets including Canada.

Thus, the next version of the subcompact five-door Chevrolet officially be named Sonic. It will no longer be assembled in South Korea, but the United States has the Orion plant in Michigan.

Marketing should begin early in the year 2011.
