Ford Canada is ready to withdraw from circulation more vehicles than any other manufacturer
Ford Canada and Summerhill Impact sign an exclusive agreement to help Canadians take their vehicles traffic
• For the first time in Canada, consumers can return their vehicles for model year 2003 (or anterior) for their withdrawal from circulation and thus become eligible for a discount of up to $ 3,000 in the purchase of a new 2010 Ford or Lincoln vehicle. Retirement programs of precedents circulation only affected vehicles model year 1995 and older.

• Removal of old vehicles traffic has advantages for the environment. For example, if 10,000 vehicles model year 2003 and earlier were replaced by 10,000 new vehicles equipped current technologies, Ford of Canada could help reduce emissions of smog-forming about 83 tonnes each year.
The "Recycle your vehicle" Ford program has been very popular with Canadian consumers. Given the positive reaction of consumers, Ford has worked with Summerhill Impact to extend the program - from now, nearly 60% of vehicles in circulation in Canada are eligible for withdrawal from circulation under the Ford program.
Ford of Canada Limited announced that from May 1, customers who relate their vehicle of model year 2003 (or anterior) for their withdrawal from circulation will be offered a discount of up to $ 3,000 the purchase of a new 2010 Ford or Lincoln vehicle.

According to Automotive Recyclers of Canada (ARC), more than 80% of a vehicle by weight, can be reused, refurbished or recycled.
"The withdrawal of old vehicles traffic present known benefits to the environment," stated Ersilia Serafini, COO of Summerhill Impact. "For example, models 1995 or earlier produce 19 times more smog-forming pollutants (volatile organic compounds and nitrogen oxides) that models 2004 or more recent. "

To date, Ford has withdrawn from circulation over 6,000 highly polluting vehicles through its "Recycle Your Vehicle" program.
Anyone eligible for exclusive program "Recycle your vehicle" Ford who bought a Ford or Lincoln vehicle new 2010 will receive $ 1,000 for the purchase of a car or a compact new 2010 Ford truck; $ 2,000 for the purchase of a new Ford sedan full-size model of vehicle crossover or sport vehicle model year 2010 utility; and $ 3,000 for the purchase of a Ford full-size or a new 2010 Lincoln vehicle.
Here are the steps to follow for the client:
• If owns a 2003 vehicle (or one year-model anterior) in working order which has been properly registered and insured for the last six months, the client goes to the Ford dealer to ensure that is eligible for the exclusive program "Recycle your vehicle" Ford offering a rebate of up to $ 3,000 for purchase of a new vehicle.
• It buys or leases the vehicle new 2010 Ford or Lincoln.

Summerhill Impact
Summerhill Impact (www.summerhillimpact.ca) is responsible for the "Car Heaven" program and the "Retire Your Ride" program of the Government of Canada.
