Toyota sales in Japan remain despite numerous reminders
Despite reminders of the brand, sales of hybrid vehicle Toyota continues to dominate the Japanese market.
In March, the Prius was the best-selling car in the archipelago, for the 11th month in a row, after the Japanese Automobile Dealers Association. Toyota has sold 35,546 copies in March.
The Prius is the vehicle that is best sold in fiscal year elapsed, April 2009 to March 2010.
The number of traded Prius was multiplied by four in one year, reaching 277,485 copies, after the professional association.
The world number one has yet recover from its image after recalling eight million vehicles worldwide for problems brake pedals and acceleration.
