Mitsubishi and Peugeot / Citroen: a natural collaboration
One does not run on gold and french is not too a pity this chapter. A promising future
These two companies, not being a lil geniuses at hybrid technology, have any interest in jointly develop or quickly this type of engine, which has become a staple of the industry.
Currently, engineers are working on a Mitsubishi atmospheric engine combines a rechargeable electric motor, while their vis-a-vis working on a hybrid powertrain based on a diesel engine. Two complementary solutions that will serve the interests to both motorists european and Asian, as well as specific requirements of North American motorists.
In this new adventure, Mitsubishi would provide the French batteries more efficient lithium-ion battery and can provide a more generous autonomy.
