Porsche ranks first in the ranking of all brands; Cayenne crossover vehicle called the intermediate top of the most attractive range
For the fifth consecutive year, Porsche won the first place overall in the context of the very study estimated APEAL (Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout) JD Power and Associates, a fact unprecedented.
The APEAL study, now in its 14th year, evaluates the satisfaction of the owners as to the design, content, a configuration and driving performance of their new vehicle. It examines the essential features of design and performance that make a pleasant possess a new vehicle and drive, and is founded on the evaluations of more than 90 vehicle attributes made by drivers. The maximum result can be obtained is 1000 points.
Managing to surpass the result of its classification at the forefront of last year, Porsche was awarded a general score from 869 brands, 15 points higher than in 2008. Another notable fact, the Cayenne has obtained the best odds in the competitive segment vehicles crossover upscale intermediate, with a score of 858. This is the second consecutive victory Cayenne in this segment.
The APEAL study 2009 is based on responses gathered this year from more than 81,000 purchasers and lessees of new cars and trucks of the 2009 model year, probes in the first 90 days of ownership.
