The head of strategy of Magna International is stepping down
The manufacturer of auto parts for Magna International (TSX: MG) Friday announced the departure of its head of strategy, Herbert Demel.
Magna precise Mr. Demel, who turns 60 this year, had asked to leave office "to have more time and freedom to pursue other interests."
Mr. Demel obtained a professorship at the Technical University of Vienna, earlier this year.
Herbert Demel had joined Magna in 2002. Has held several roles within the senior management of the company, including that of president of Magna China, India, Southeast Asia and South America.
Magna has more than 300 manufacturing facilities and 87 product development centers, and sales of engineering in the world. The company employs 121,000 people.
The action of Magna took 38 cents Friday at the Toronto Stock Exchange, or closing it is $ 76.10.
