The models Civic, CR-V and Ridgeline Honda and Acura TL all first class for initial quality in their respective categories
The factory number two Honda of Canada Mfg.. (HCM) in Alliston, Ontario, has clinched the bronze medal for North America and South as part of the initial quality study (IQS) 2013 JD Power. Both products are also manufactured by HCM at the top of their respective segments. Thus, the Honda Civic, the best-selling vehicle in Canada for 15 years, has achieved the highest rating for its initial quality in the compact car category. On the other hand, for the second consecutive year, the Honda CR-V was the crown compact CUV. The AWARDED prices to vehicles based on the results of surveys after purchase made with consumers, while those given to plants rely on fewer manufacturing defects or operating problems identified by vehicle.

Honda and Acura products are among the top three in seven of the ten segments in which they competed. In addition to the first place finish by models Civic and CR-V manufactured in Canada, the Honda Ridgeline is hoisted at the top of the category of intermediate trucks, while the Acura TL has won top honors for the compact car luxury.
