Mazda Canada reports its results of sales in April 2013
Mazda Canada today publishes its figures for the month of April 2013 a total of 6,682 units sold, which represents a decrease of 5% compared to April 2012. Total sales YTD of 23,420 units were up 1 % compared to the first four months of 2012.
Sales of the all-new SKYACTIV technology equipped Mazda6 jumped 451% in April, the best sales for April since 2009. Vehicles equipped SKYACTIV technology have represented nearly 60% of total sales in April.
"Thanks to the addition to our range of all-new Mazda6 equipped with a 2.5 L engine and SKYACTIV-G technology, more and more consumers know what is the SKYACTIV technology," stated David Klan, Senior Director, Sales, Marketing and Operations Regional, Mazda Canada Inc. "The Mazda6 delivers a unique driving experience in the category of intermediate sedans, combined with design and incomparable quality. "
The models CX-9 and CX-5 redraw have also recorded positive results in April, with increases of 114% and 9%, respectively. The CX-5 model of the year 2014 is now available with the new petrol engine of 2.5 L, which has an output of 184 horsepower and 185 lb-ft while maintaining the standards of economy gasoline established by the model CX-5 last year a team engine 2 L.
