Braking: 30,000 sport utility vehicles manufactured by BMW are recalled
More than 30,000 sport utility vehicles manufactured by BMW are recalled to fix an oil leak which can short-circuit braking assistance.
The German automaker says the recall affects the X5 model years 2007 to 2010.
The company indicates that a small amount of lubricating oil can flow from a brake pipe and cause loss of braking assistance. In this eventuality, the brakes still work, but less effective way.
BMW says no accidents or injuries have been reported.
Dealers will replace the mandate of the parts for free.
