General Electric acquired 2000 Ford hybrid cars

General Electric acquired 2000 Ford hybrid cars for its fleet of vehicles, have announced Tuesday the two companies.

Replace half of its fleet of vehicles powered by alternative energy GE aims.

Considering the purchase of cars Ford, GE now has a 5000 alternative fuel vehicles, or 10 percent of its fleet.

Ford will promote charging stations for electric vehicles GE under the agreement.

The two companies also plan to work with researchers from Georgia Tech to study the habits and recharging employees. The results of these studies shall be shared with other companies who want to add electric cars to their fleets.

The C-Max Energi car Ford was starting this month. She is able to travel some 30 kilometers thanks to its electricity supply, before going on to fuel.
