Jaguar F-Type 2013: based on the C-X16 concept

So far, it was clear in our minds that the great concept C-X16 Jaguar would serve the development of a compact sport coupe template.

Now, however, the British manufacturer, ownership of the Indian company Tata announced the Auto Show in New York, the output in 2013, a roadster called F-Type.

Normally, when a manufacturer unveiled a novelty, it is a concept or a model of a future series, size. But this time only a few cliches prototype were presented.

Apparently, this car will have a canvas top.

Jaguar F-Type will face the popular Audi TT, BMW Z4, Mercedes-Benz SLK and Porsche Boxster.

In addition to the hybrid powertrain of the concept C-X16, it should inherit a four-cylinder turbo engine or a V6 of 300 horsepower.

Good and bad news Jaguar

With this announcement, Jaguar confirms that the first model of series involving DNA superb concept C-X16 will be the F-Type.

Unfortunately, the planned output for 2013 will delay the commercialization of cutting.
