Two national associations join forces for the benefit of Canadian drivers

AJAC (Automobile Journalists Association of Canada) and the CAA (Canadian Automobile Association) are pleased to announce that they have formed a partnership that aims to provide Canadian consumers with increased access to the useful, ethical and honest information on subjects matter automobile that take them court.

The two associations will work together to implement various initiatives, such as conferences and awareness campaigns on the dangers of distracted driving as well as measures to assist cyclists and vehicles to share the road safely. An online publication that aims to inform consumers about new vehicle technologies is under preparation, and various demonstrations intends consumers are also in preparation.

AJAC is a professional organization of journalists, editors and photographers whose main interest the automobile and the automotive industry. AJAC is a professional non-profit association that was founded in 1981 to foster unity among the journalists specialized in the automotive field. The program Car of the year is an integral part of the mission of the Association.

CAA is a federation of nine clubs providing more than 5.6 million members of roadside assistance services, travel services, a rewards program and comprehensive insurance services. CAA also defend the interests of its members on a variety of issues they had court, including road safety, the environment, mobility, infrastructure and consumer protection.
