In making the announcement, GM stresses, however, that there is so far no fire or hurt. The spokesman Kerry Christopher firm stated that this measure, which relates only to models sold in North America, was taken as a precautionary.
Some of the models recalled products are not longer produced. This recall includes the 1998-1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue, the Pontiac Grand Prix 1997 2003 Buick Regal 1997 2003 and the Chevrolet Lumina, Monte Carlo and Impala 1998 2003. Recall involves all motor vehicles equipped 3.8-liter V6.
