Participants in the Hot Wheels Designer's Challenge
As part of the 40th anniversary of Hot Whells giant, world-renowned specialist in the design and manufacture of miniature vehicles, the Company Mattel launched a design competition to design vehicles unpublished, which subsequently can be found in rooms exhibition and sale of giant miniature vehicle.
Usually reserve for employees of the box, this time, it caters more to professional designers major automakers. Six of them answered that offers more attractive for them, namely Chrysler (Dodge), Ford, General Motors, Honda, Lotus and Mitsubishi.
Participants should realize a reduced model to scale 1: 5, having a futuristic sporty character, or that of a race car completely unrestrained, but reflecting the spirit of the Hot Wheels brand.
Last November, as part of the extravagant SEMA Las Vegas, the company had seven Hot Weels best achievements of these professinnels designers arising from this excellent initiative. The models were reduced to the scale 1: 5. It is also important to mention that these cars are placed on the world market in miniature format 1: 64, has a very attractive price.
Mattel / Hot Wheels to open this competition to designers of automotive companies, has enjoyed a worldwide media coverage unexpected.
