Subaru recalls 834,000 vehicles in North America
In the recalled vehicles, we detected a fault on the system to a lot of lighting, which could cause fire.
For more precision, it is an accessory that has the function to illuminate the floor at the bottom of the doors. The moisture can then infiltrate and cause a short circuit.
According to the NHTSA, the vehicles covered by the recall were sold in 2012 and affect models:
Forester year 2009 2012;
Legacy of the years 2010 and 2011;
Outback for years 2010 and 2011;
Tribeca 2006 year of 2012.
Dealers pose a bundle son with extra fuse to protect against short circuits.
In Canada, it is only 293 vehicles are affected by this recall.
